Eva Natanya is Co-founder, Executive Director, and a Resident Teacher at the Center for Contemplative Research in Crestone, Colorado. She is also a retreat leader, writer, translator, and a scholar of Christian theology and comparative mysticism as well as Indian and Tibetan Buddhism. Eva has studied and practiced meditation, yoga, and philosophy for over twenty years in both the Christian and Buddhist traditions with master teachers in the United States, the United Kingdom, and India.
Following a nine-year career as a professional ballet dancer, she earned an MA in Christian Systematic Theology at the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, California, and a PhD in Religious Studies from the University of Virginia. She has worked closely with Dr. B. Alan Wallace on the translations for several of his books and has co-taught meditation retreats with Dr. Wallace around the world.
